Types of Guns Available

     There are three different types or kinds of guns you can buy. In this introduction about basic gun types I will provide answers as to how you use guns and what you use them for. I will also explain what guns perform best in different situations.

     So, the first weapon I will talk about is the pistol. The pistol is a very basic gun that has many different pros and cons. First of all I will portray the pros. The pistol is the most portable kind of gun out there. Because of this it is used for personal protection for a variety of people. It is also a very fun gun to shot and is accurate at close range. Now to the cons. Pistol barrels are very short which makes the gun extremely underpowered at long distance gunfights, because it is so inaccurate at distance. In the following pages I will tell you more about pistols.

     The next weapon we will go over is the rifle. The rifle was one of the first gunpowder chambered weapons to lie on this earth. Thus making it a choice for many early and futuristic enthusiasts. I will first explain the pros and cons as I did for the pistol. The rifle is probably used as a primary weapon due to the amount of wear and tear it can endure and overall speculations and stats it is famous for. The rifle has a long barrel making it especially more accurate than the pistol. And of course it is going to weigh a lot more so it is harder to carry around. Due to the high accuracy of this gun its prominent uses would be between mid to long range encounters. This gun is used for training, range shooting (which we will go over later), and can even be used to compete in target shooting competitions. Now that we have talked about most of the things in a rifle I will continue and will come back to rifles in later pages and posts.

     The final weapon I will show off today is the shotgun. The shotgun is extremely different then the other guns as it shoots many different projectiles in one shot. The ammo that the shotgun shoots is a shell that has a lot of small little bb's shooting out of the end barrel of the gun. This mass shot effect releases a dispersion that will expand depending on what shells you use. The shotguns are best used in close quarter combat. Many different military countries use them as a secondary gun to the rifle, because of their distance capabilities. The shotgun can be sawed off making it even deadlier at close range. Shotguns are usually used for skeet shooting and personal protection like the pistol.
     So to conclude the pistol and shotguns are best used at close range as for the rifle is used at mid to long range. Now that you know about the basics you are ready to learn what makes the best guns.
